The Exchange grants service an electronic marketplace Developed and launched as part of Emarati platform inside the Dubai Now App, where grant holders can list their grants on the open market to buy, sell or exchange grants.

Challenges

• Connecting The grants database of Three Dubai government entities. Dubai Municipality, Dubai Land Department, and Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment.

• Automating exchanging housing grants in Dubai with minimum human interaction from any involved entity.

• Instantly update all connected databases to ensure accuracy at all times.

• Integrating the system with UAE PASS to give easy and trusted access to the platform for UAE nationals without the need to register to use the app.

Solution

• Engineered a unified database of Dubai real-estate grants in the emirate of Dubai by synchronizing the collected data from three governmental entities, meticulously analyzing and rectifying inconsistencies, and eliminating duplicate or absent data across all entities.

• Designed and developed an electronic marketplace where grant holders can list their grants on the open market to buy, sell or exchange grants.

• Integrating the service inside the DubaiNow app and the first phase of the project (Exchange Grants) has been launched by MBRHE under Emarati initiative. Allowing grants owners to exchange their lands using the service from their mobile devices using the DubaiNow app (Powered by Digital Dubai).
